Part 7 - Drag me under

Part 7 - Drag me under

You know that feeling when you just don't feel like doing anything? Even when you know it's probably the right thing to do in that moment? That's how I felt today. I just had no motivation. The weather wasn't inviting...it was snowing, my motivation was somewhere in the basement, and I just didn't feel like it.

I knew for a fact that with my mindset today, I wasn't going to crush it. According to my Freeletics Coach, I had two long sprints planned, which didn't really appeal to me. But I went ahead and hit my usual route, which is great for sprints.

I was bumpin' another album earlier, but it wasn't givin' me the hype I was expectin'. Since my workout was short today, I just made a playlist of some tracks I've been meanin' to listen to. That's how I stumbled upon the new single from Rising Insane:

If you know me, you know I'm a straight-up fanboy of the dudes from Oldenburg. Ever since "PORCELAIN", I've been following their releases and loving them. My absolute favorite so far has been the track "AFTERGLOW", which is on the album of the same name.

DRAG ME UNDER goes in with the same power and sounds even more mature. Sven and Köchy's guitar riffs drive the song forward and are perfectly complemented by Aaron's vocals. The hook is fire and super catchy. And don't even get me started on the sick production! So shoutout to Niedersachsen, y'all killed it once again!

Conclusion: The song pumps you up during a workout and is a must-have for your playlist. Even though it was hella annoying today, I'm glad I did the training. It builds discipline, which is important when setting goals.

When was the last time you had no motivation to do anything? Got any tips for me in case I feel that way again? Hit me up on Instagram DMs, I'm always open for some advice.
