RECAP FRANKFUT
Share
The last time we were in Frankfurt was in February 2024 for the Metal Forge Festival. And it was an awesome night, so we had high expectations for this one.
Since we still had all our gear in the bus from the day before, we didn't have to load anything and could hit the road straight away. Off to Frankfurt, via our favorite stretch of highway.
The A3 between Nuremberg and Würzburg. 80 kilometers of construction, for what feels like 15 years, what more could you want? No really, we HATE this stretch. And the best part: It feels like every time we have to take this highway to get somewhere from Nuremberg. AAAHHHH this highway!! Okay, but back to our day in Frankfurt. Everything went as planned. We arrived at the venue (with only a slight delay).
Unloaded, set up and got everything ready. We even had time for a visit to the legendary "Khan Kiosk", grabbed a cold Wicküler Pils, licked the signed Mehnersmoos poster off the wall behind the counter, invited the two guys to our concert (unfortunately they couldn't make it), and headed back to the venue.
The day before in Munich, we already had two birthday kids in the crowd, today there was even a bachelor party that came to our show. For "Aporia" we brought the groom on stage and gave him the task of getting the crowd going. And what happened? Less than a minute later, the stage was going crazy, people were being pulled up, there was stage diving and everything escalated. How awesome is that?! The whole thing took on a whole new dimension during NBD's set and by the end of their set, nothing and no one in the Nachtleben was standing still. What a night!
And one more thing I don't want to forget to say:
Throughout the tour, in every city we were in, we met people who came to see us. Some of them even for the second or third time. And that's just crazy to us every time. People from all over Germany come to our shows. What the hell? You can't imagine how much that means to us, how happy it makes us when people tell us that they came because they like our music.
It was a lot of fun being on tour with the NBD guys and we want to thank you again. Thanks for having us!
